Getting ready for your hair trial

Many people ask “Do I need a hair trial?”. The answer is no but it is a good time to ask all those questions you are unsure of as well as get a feel for how the day will run.

At a hair trial we talk about;

  • styles you like and don’t like

  • bridesmaid hair

  • dresses and style

  • timing of other vendors

  • style of your wedding

  • start time for your wedding day

  • approximate finish time

  • veil fitting

We cover a lot at your trial but if you decide not to have a trial we can discuss these things over the phone with you. It also is about getting to know us so you feel comfortable on your wedding day. We share a big part of that morning with you!

To prepare your hair for your trial we ask you wash your hair the day prior to your trial and if you have really curly hair to blow dry straight or straighten. You can read our hair preparation in our Terms and Conditions also.

We also ask you bring any hair pieces and veil if you have anything. You can even bring your earrings if you want to see everything put together.

We like to take photos for our records and can also take photos for you for reference. It can help to refer back to so to decide if any changes need to be made in the day.

Prior to your wedding day we send out an email confirmation to you with all the information we discuss with you and what you need to tell your bridal party.

Please reach out to us if you have any further questions around booking a trial or see our Frequently Asked Questions and our Terms and Conditions.
