Owner & Director

My name is Sarah Courtney, and I am the Owner and Director of The Hair Artist Collective. I have been a professional hairdresser since 1999, with over 18 years in the industry and more than a decade specialising in bridal and wedding hairstyling.

I understand how important it is for your wedding morning to feel calm, organised and genuinely enjoyable. Brides want to feel relaxed, cared for, and confident in the stylist they are trusting with their hair—and their memories. My role is not only to create beautiful hair, but to help create a beautiful

experience.

How The Hair Artist Collective Began

I created The Hair Artist Collective to bring together a team of highly skilled, qualified hairdressers who share the same passion for bridal hair, service excellence and professionalism.

Only trusted stylists with strong bridal experience join our team. Each stylist is trained in my techniques and approach, ensuring consistency, reliability and a luxury experience for every bride we look after.

As a qualified hairdressing teacher and trainer, I place a strong focus on education, training and consistency within the team. This means our brides benefit from refined skills, up-to-date techniques and a standard of service that is carefully maintained.

Qualifications & Experience

With many years’ experience across most areas of hairdressing, my formal qualifications include:

Certificate IV in Hairdressing
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Diploma of Hair Salon Management
Certificate II in Make-Up Services
Brow and Lash Artist

I pride myself on being highly organised, detail-focused and committed to delivering exceptional client care. As your Mobile Wedding Hair Specialist, my goal is to create the perfect start to your wedding day, ensuring you feel supported, on time and absolutely beautiful.

Meet Cassie

Hi There! I'm Cassie an extroverted, hilarious (well I think so) mother of three. I am a fully qualified hairdresser and have been hairdressing since 2005 with short breaks to raise my children in between. My husband and I also owned a Salon on the sunshine coast for a few years, but I much prefer a more relaxed environment. That's what I strive to give you on your wedding morning! I have always loved a challenge which is where my love of upstyling and bridal hair comes from.

Meet Our Director

Hi! I am Sarah and love my job! I have my wonderful husband and two young girls who amaze me everyday! I want to make sure my brides and clients are relaxed and feel comfortable asking questions. I want them to feel confident and stress free. For entertainment I provide great 90's dance moves but I can't tell a joke! I am good at laughing at them whether good or bad!

Services

With over 20 years experience I have grown to love and specialise in bridal hair. I have moved from salon owner, to wedding stylist to educator to again creating a business that focuses on beautiful bridal hair with a unique experience. I am now growing my business to surround myself with a team of experienced stylists.
